These are the ongoing sessions that form the foundation of BHYC’s work.
Sports Sessions
- Regular coaching in football, basketball, martial arts, and swimming.
- Benefits: Improves physical health, teamwork, and discipline. Provides a positive way to use energy. Open to all skill levels.
Detached Youth Work
- Youth workers meet young people where they are – on the streets, in parks, and in local community areas across St. Paul’s, Easton, and Lawrence Hill.
- Purpose: Build trust, give immediate support, spot those at risk, and guide them towards available services in a supportive, non-judgmental way.
